We had a fabulous day with our nine year old daughters! The animals were surely well cared for, as they approached us without fear. The paths were nicely shaded and visibly appealing for our walk around the zoo. We loved that the animals had activities for mental stimulation. The mini golf course was a creative and fun activity during rain storms.

I decided the home depot ones seemed small and would buy one here. I asked for a 10 gallon tree and was told it would be 4-5 foot high. When I went to pick up the tree it turns out the tree was in a 10 gallon container but it was no bigger than what Home Depot was selling in there 5 gallon. Another words they simply placed a small tree in a big pot and charger 20 dollars more for the dirt. I felt pressured to buy it and did when I asked about guarantees they told me there was none. Unlike Home Depot if it dies I'm out 65 dollars. Nice place to take the kids but I would not recommend buying plants from them.

Buyer Beware.

I bought a tree here after seeing the same exact 5 gallon trees at Home Depot.

On vacation in weeki wachee area...was told we needed to go there with my grandchildren. Planned all week. Went on website...google and even listened to recorded message for hours...we get there after a 45 min drive and there is a little handwritten note on the door that says reopen Saturday. Thank you for informing the public in any way shape or form. We had 8 people in our party...we shall not return.

This place is amazing! It’s basically a family run zoo with some roadside attraction thrown in. Keep your expectations low and this place will not disappoint.

Been coming here for years. Animal, mining, putt putt golfing and ice cream. Also a great gift shop.
