The up selling was over the top. They talked about putting me on antibiotics for my gums and everything in between. When I expressed I only wanted to come back for another cleaning since I had no cavity's I was advised I had to come back for a specific treatment and could only cancel once. At that point I advised them I would be changing dentist. The up selling and pressure to do things I know are not necessary but other may not know better is the sad part. This is a corporate owned dental service so I am sure there is a lot of pressure to sell. I advise you to find a local dentist with a private practice that is looking to build relationships not invoices. Very disappointed in the staff at this office. The front desk person Casey was very rude and hung up on me when I said I would be looking for a new dentist.
Excellent experience here. The staff was very friendly and professional. The dentist was very nice and answered all my questions. Loved my hygienist. I was impressed with the entire experience. It did not have the "factory" feel like other offices I've been to. I recommend The Dentist Place to everyone.
Most dentists are very expensive and this one is no exception, but, they recommended a dental insurance plan that would cut the expenses by about 30 percent. The staff here seems to be nice and considerate and up-front about what they need to do and why. They advertised a special in the paper for a cleaning and x-rays for $59 and did the procedures for that amount. They found a cavity that needed fixed and recommended the insurance program to reduce the cost. For less than $100 I got insurance for the entire family and it did reduce the cost.

I’ve had better customer service at a McDonald’s drive thru at 3 AM. Yep. That bad. Dealt with the staffs incompetence for over a week and still got nowhere, no calls back when they gave me their word, and no clear answers regarding my insurance. I rarely write a review. But some people should be aware they may get terrible service from the admins. Why 2 stars? Because Dr. Berk is amazing. He really is. I was willing to jump through hoops to see him, but couldn’t wait any longer due to being in pain and then them forgetting about me, and so now I need to find another dentist unfortunately. So sad. I’ll miss having Dr. Berk fill my cavities. But I’m glad I won’t ever have to deal with the office again.
