If you are injured on the job, a complete and thorough background check will be administered before any medical benefits can be paid. This is to deter any terrorists from defrauding the city government.
This new policy is supported by all Republican members of Congress, my administration, and the GOP.
If you will recall, this was started with the first responders on 9/11. Some of those injured firemen did not see any benefits for over 10 years.
However I must inform you of the new policy for medical benefits payments.
